If I could give this vet 10 stars, I would. After moving boroughs I relocated vets and the one I was using in Astoria was *okay* but I often had to wait weeks, if not months for an appointment. Recently I was told my cat would need dental surgery and was pushed to get her blood work done. Then a week later I tried to schedule her procedure and they said they were booked out for 2-3 months, wouldn't open the calendar for later, and were not able to perform the dental consult and procedure in the 3-4 weeks before I leave for 3 months of work out of town. Frustrated since they had pushed me to get the blood work done which expired in 3o days, I reached out to 5 other branches of that vet and still no luck. Plus requirement for more blood work and requirement for a heart & lung x-ray for a 5y/o cat to undergo the dental anesthesia. CUT TO: Out of frustration I contacted a number of other vets and immediately Bond Vet was a cut above the rest. I was able to get a phone consult within 2 days, spoke to an incredibly kind intake woman (Dawn) who gave me expectations and quotes, and agreed that the x-ray was excessive. I had a an in person consult at the LIC office within one week, and the dental procedure was done the following week. This means that I could even monitor my cat's aftercare before leaving for work. Their LIC office is bright, clean, and gives the vibe of a cute WeWork. There's even a corner for cats to go so that dogs can be kept away from them in the waiting room. Treats all around, even for people. And when you have to pay for a big procedure, it does help to have a candy at the front desk. Regarding payment, I was quoted on the phone, during the consult, and then it ended up being less because my cat has less diseased teeth than originally expected. My first visit, the nurses let my cat in a room very early because she was crying and obviously very nervous. All the nurses have been super warm and friendly, and the front desk woman is helpful, kind, and it doesn't feel like she's rushing you out the door. Every person in this facility acts like you're a valued family member, and not a human credit card. During the procedure itself, I was texted all day with updates about how my cat was doing, and the outpatient instructions and follow up were seriously better than some of the care I've received as a human in a hospital. Emailed, and printed, and gone over verbally before we left. All the nurses and Dr. McGuire repeatedly ask if you have questions. They seem to genuinely love their job, and do what's best for their furry patients while keeping their human parent's informed and managing expectations for pricing and care. Without a doubt, my previous vet has lost a patient, and Bond has secured a customer for life. Even if I move again I will remain loyal this location after receiving such excellent care.

We have been using a "cats only" vet in Manhattan for the last few years. However, when our kitty, Marbles, was acutely ill, Bond was able to get us in same day for an appointment. Soon after booking, Dr. Krieger called expressing concerns regarding the symptoms I described when booking the appointment online. She told us to bring Marbles in right away. When we arrived, they immediately brought him in the back. They did a full physical exam, vital signs, and even provided him with oxygen. They recommended we take him to the ER, and even provided recommendations as to where to go. When I went to check out, they told us that since it was a triage, the visit was free! A few weeks later, Marbles had been through a lot. After 2 trips to AMC's ER, including a 2-night admission, Marbles was declining. We brought him in for a follow up, where we saw Dr. Krieger again. She was excellent with him and explained her concerns and recommendations. The next day, the office called to check-in, which I thought was so great! When I said he wasn't doing better, they made an appointment for him to come back same day. This time we saw Dr. Quesada, who was also so good with him and well-informed. She explained everything to us, and even waived the exam fee! After fluids and new medications, Marbles is feeling so much better. We are so thrilled - we thought we might lose him. Overall, I can't recommend Bond vet enough! I never felt like they were pushing excess costly procedures/medications (quite the opposite, actually!) I know many vets are geared primarily towards dogs, but we felt they handled our cat's care amazingly. Plus, their office is adorable and it's so easy to book appointments online same day. We will be switching both of our cats to Bond as their primary care :)
