Domestic Travel Certificates at Bond Vet

Traveling within the USA, Mexico, or Canada with your pet?

If you're planning to travel domestically with your pet, Bond Vet’s Travel team is here to help! Our team of experienced travel nurses and accredited veterinarians can assist you in navigating the entry requirements of your destination(s). While domestic pet travel is generally less complex than international travel, it's still important to be aware of any specific requirements or regulations that may apply to your destination. Let Bond Travel do our best to ensure you and your pet enjoy a hassle-free trip within the United States, Mexico or Canada.

Timeline

Please reach out to Bond at least 30 days prior to your anticipated travel in the USA, Mexico or Canada.  You will need to visit Bond for your in-person travel appointment not more than 10 days before your departure date.

Last Minute Changes? We know things don’t always go as planned. Please reach out to us to discuss the changes. We may be able to accommodate your request so long as there are 3 days before your trip and payment of a late processing fee.

How It Works

  1. Submit an inquiry here.

  2. After submitting an inquiry, you will receive an email that provides additional information about Bond’s process for travel certificates. Please review this email carefully and please reply back so that our Travel Agents can begin your documentation.

  3. The Bond Vet Travel Agent will send back an email to let you know whether the Travel Agent  has received all necessary information to issue your certificate or needs more information.  Once the Travel Agent has all necessary information, the Travel Agent will reach out to schedule your in-person appointment.  Please reply back with your preferred clinic and appointment date and time so that our Travel Agents can schedule your in-person appointment.

  4. Your Travel Agent will send an order confirmation listing the location, date and time of your upcoming in-person appointment and confirming your destination, your pet’s species and whether your pet will travel in cabin or in cargo.

  5. Meet with an USDA-accredited veterinarian: During your appointment, our USDA-accredited veterinarian  will perform the USDA Exam and complete all required documentation.

  6. Receive your documents: The required documents will be given to you during your appointment.

  7. Bon Voyage: Enjoy your trip with your furry companion!
