Essentially, urgent care for pets is whenever you think to yourself, “I think something’s wrong — a vet should take a look at this ASAP.”

What does a routine checkup include?

A checkup is a comprehensive nose -to-tail examination by a doctor who will customize a medical plan based on your pet’s needs and answer questions you may have. If our doctor recommends additional treatments or diagnostics, we’ll go over what they are, why they would be beneficial, and how much they cost beforehand.

Do you accept pet insurance?

Yes, we take all pet insurances, and our Forest Hills team will be more than happy to help you submit a claim.

Do you offer teeth clinics and dental surgery?

Yes! Our Forest Hills clinic has a dedicated dental suite to provide the best dental cleaning experience for your pet. During the cleaning, an oral exam is performed, full-mouth radiographs are taken, teeth are scaled and polished, and we remove calculus from the tooth's surface and under gum lines. We then probe the teeth to measure the pockets that exist under the gum lines. If teeth are very unhealthy, we remove them.

“I was skeptical about this place but I'm so glad I listened to my gut. I took my one cat for a well visit and one concern. Checking in was fast. They placed myself and my animal in a private examining room where I was allowed to let my animal roam free and explore. Everything is modern and up-to-date. I was very impressed. The Vets Assistant, Jessica asked me every quest about my pet from birth to present. The doctor came in and was well informed because everything I told Jessica, she typed it all up! Dr. Diaz listened to my questions and concerns. She was so patient and that made me feel like I was in a safe place with my animal. After servicing my pet, the doctor gave me anti-anxiety meds to ensure my pet would be more calm for the next visit as he was a bit on edge for vaccinations. The nurse (I forgot her name but I know she has really cute purple bangs) was great too!!! I have one more animal that I scheduled to bring in. I feel so good about this place! I also love how all the examination rooms are named after famed tennis players. That's a cute touch! Once I got home, I received a detailed receipt, a very detailed 7 page report regarding my pet (I LOVED that part!) and a follow up asking how my pet was doing? I'm glad that I finally found a vet to call my own. Thank you Bond Vet. See you in April with the next pet.”

“I never write reviews but Dr. Mena Malek and her assistant went above and beyond to care for my dog who was in pain. My puppy is a bit jumpy and cautious when meeting new people but Doctor Mena and the kind nurse who I sadly don’t remember her name took care of her. My dog was calm which was extremely shocking in an amazing way. They were patient and very loving to my girl. My dog is doing better but the care in these two individuals made my heart happy. Will be switching both my dogs to these vets and highly recommend to other friends and family members who need vet. I’m beyond grateful for doctor malek and the kind nurse.”
