I highly recommend this office, and I'll share my most recent experience as to why. I recently had to make the extremely difficult choice to have my 20-year-old cat, Cooper, put to sleep, and the entire staff, especially Dr. Ya Deau, showed incredible kindness during one of the hardest moments of my life. I was hoping for more time with Cooper after his vet visit on a Saturday, but it was simply his time to go over the rainbow bridge. This team made that heartbreaking day and the days after a little easier — they let me stay in the room after hearing Dr. Ya Deau's diagnosis, and made time for Cooper the very next afternoon even though there wasn't an open appointment when I first called. That kind of flexibility, in a moment like that, means everything. Dr. Ya Deau in particular deserves special recognition. Her words to me that Saturday — that I did the best I could, and that Cooper's condition worsening was not my fault — have stayed with me and kept me from spiraling into "I should have" or "why didn't I." If you're looking for a vet who treats you with real compassion and not just clinical detachment, she's it. The staff also refunded the medications I never got to use. Having them in my apartment after Cooper was gone was hard to look at, and they took them off my hands without a second thought, no questions asked. I still have one elderly cat, Roxie, and I have zero hesitation bringing her back here. This team earns trust in the moments that matter most.
