Similar to urgent care for people, we provide treatment that falls between routine exams and emergency care. This includes issues like bite wounds, stomach issues, wound treatment, pain or limping, eye and ear issues, coughing, urination issues, and more. Essentially, urgent care for pets is whenever you think to yourself, “I think something’s wrong — a vet should take a look at this ASAP.”

What does a routine checkup include?

A checkup is a comprehensive nose -to-tail examination by a doctor who will customize a medical plan based on your pet’s needs and answer questions you may have. If our doctor recommends additional treatments or diagnostics, we’ll go over what they are, why they would be beneficial, and how much they cost beforehand.

Do you accept pet insurance?

Yes, we take all pet insurances, and our Watertown team will be more than happy to help you submit a claim.

Do you offer teeth cleanings dental surgery?

Yes! Our Watertown clinic has a dedicated dental suite to provide the best dental cleaning experience for your pet. During the cleaning, an oral exam is performed, full-mouth radiographs are taken, teeth are scaled and polished, and we remove calculus from the tooth's surface and under gum lines. We then probe the teeth to measure the pockets that exist under the gum lines. If teeth are very unhealthy, we remove them.

I suspected my 13-year-old Chihuahua Jupiter was suffering from a possible ear infection. I decided to bring him to Bond Vet to have him checked out. Dr Pavlova and her assistant (so sorry, forgot her name) we're both extremely kind, caring, friendly and totally thorough. Dr Pavlova got right down on the floor at Jupiter's level while asking me questions. She really put him at ease. After a quick yet thorough gentle exam, my suspicion was true. Jupiter had an infection in both ears...poor little guy. I was given two options for a treatment. I could take meds home with me and treat him twice a day or have a one time treatment applied by the Doctor. And though it was a bit more expensive I did opt for the doctor applied medication. One and done! Couldn't be better. It was Jupiter's first time here so I was able to take advantage of their promotion that offers your first exam for free. As for their other prices, they are pretty much in line with all the other veterinarians in the area.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a wonderful experience at Bond Vet in Watertown! From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly kind, understanding, and communicative. They stayed in touch with me before our appointment through texts and calls, which I really appreciated. My dog Benji struggles with anxiety, especially around unfamiliar people, and I was nervous about how his visit would go. The entire team, from the front desk to the vet and assistants, was so patient and caring. Instead of pushing him during his first visit, the doctor recommended medication to help with his anxiety, and we returned a few days later. What a difference it made! The veterinarian was amazing, attentive, gentle, and genuinely listened to all my concerns. They were also very transparent about pricing, providing an estimate before starting any treatments. Benji received his vaccines, had his ears cleaned, and was treated for an ear infection. I also appreciated that they automatically applied the complimentary first-visit promotion without me having to ask! They even followed up by email to check on Benji afterward. Most importantly, Benji left much calmer than I ever expected, and he’s now doing great at home! While the services can be a little pricey, the quality of care, compassion, and peace of mind made it worth it. Truly such kind staff and doctor! They were very accommodating to my cat that reacts to other animals. They let us go to the room as soon as I️ got there and made sure other animals were covered when my cat was near them. They were also very clear about service costs and helped me understand what I️ was paying for. Will be returning and recommending to others!
